Description
Set within 30 acres of farmland and on the edge of the Blackdown Hills Halsbeer farm is the ideal place from which to explore Devon's picturesque countryside. Either on foot in the neighbouring Blackdown Hills, or by car with historic Honiton and the majestic Jurassic coast but a short drive away.
We are family (and dog) friendly and have plenty of facilities for children here at the farm including a 24' heated indoor swimming pool and a well stocked games room. Younger children can entertain themselves in our enclosed play area with swings and sandpit whilst the young adult of the group can sink into a book or get online with wifi access in each of our properties.
All three of our cottages have their own private outdoor space with patio furniture and barbecue facilities. Theres also plenty of other communal space around the farm including our marvellous conservatory which overlooks a large, well stocked pond. The conservatory can seat up to twenty people for dinner and is a great sun trap for reading a book well into the evening whereupon you can light the log burner for a little extra comfort.
Hay Barn sleeps seven comfortably and has three luxurious four poster beds. It's large living area and four en-suite bathrooms make it perfect for families and groups of friends alike.
Relax in this traditional barns open spaces finished with oak beams, flagstone floors and modern furnishings or head outside onto one of two private outside spaces to dine al-fresco in the setting sun.
The ground floor of Hay Barn has traditional flagstoned floors and is home to the large open plan living area. The lounge sits among the original oak beamed structure of the barn and has ample seating and a large dining table that seats eight.
Expand the lounge into the outside by pushing open the double glazed french doors onto the patio space to the front of the property or relax in-front of the tv and logon to the wi-fi.
The fitted kitchen packs everything you'll need to make you feel at home whilst preparing food and with an integrated dishwasher and washing machine you can keep on top of the chores so you can enjoy your break to the full.
Hay Barn has far ranging views of the countryside and an additional private courtyard to the rear. The ample outside dining and barbeque facilities allow this property to be enjoyed inside and out.
The ground floor is also home to a beautiful four poster bedroom with an ensuite wetroom and is wheelchair friendly.
The first floor houses two large double bedrooms both with 5' four-poster beds, vaulted ceilings and stripped pine floors and with en-suite facilities including beautiful roll top baths for a luxurious soak at the end of the day. There is also a small single bedroom with ensuite shower and wc facilites and dual access into the hallway and master bedroom. The rooms have been finished in natural tones and furnished to a high standard to provide you with a luxurious and natural place to stay.

Justly famous as one of England’s finest destinations, South Devon has everything

cobbled streets and wide selection of shops. Or step back in time to the Elizabethan
age in Totnes with its charming tudor houses.
